UI/UX & Product Design
Interfaces designed for the person who has to use them forty times a day.
Overview
The short version
Consumer polish and operational software are different disciplines. A dashboard used by three dispatchers for eight hours a day should be dense, fast and keyboard-friendly. A signup flow used once should be generous and forgiving. We design for the actual usage pattern, then hand over a system your developers can build from.
Technologies we use here
Chosen per project against your team's existing skills, your hosting constraints and long-term maintenance cost — not house preference.
Scope
What we build
Product discovery
User flows, journey mapping and the questions that stop a team building the wrong thing.
Wireframes and prototypes
Clickable Figma prototypes you can put in front of real users before engineering starts.
Interface design
Screen design across breakpoints, with real content rather than lorem ipsum.
Design systems
Components, tokens, states and documentation so the tenth screen looks like the first.
Design for accessibility
Contrast, focus order, target sizes and screen-reader semantics specified at design time.
Method
How we approach it
The same three commitments apply to every engagement, whatever the technology involved.
Content before decoration
We design with real labels, real record counts and real edge cases. Empty states, error states and long names are part of the deliverable.
Handover developers can use
Spacing, tokens, states and component behaviour documented — not a flat image with a note saying 'make it responsive'.
Design and build in one team
When designers and engineers sit in the same delivery team, the compromises happen in the design file rather than silently in the code.
FAQ
Questions
Straight answers, including the ones that occasionally lose us work.
Yes. Design-only engagements are common and we hand over a complete Figma file and documented system your own team can implement.
We handle product-level identity — typography, colour systems, iconography and interface tone. Full brand strategy and logo design we would refer out.
Two structured rounds per milestone, which is enough when feedback is consolidated. We tell you upfront how additional rounds are priced.
