Mobile App Development

One codebase, two stores, and a release process your team can actually run after we hand it over.

Overview

The short version

Mobile projects rarely fail on the code. They fail on store review, on push notification plumbing, on the version fragmentation nobody planned for, and on the fact that nobody documented how to cut a release. We build the app and the release process together.

Technologies we use here

Chosen per project against your team's existing skills, your hosting constraints and long-term maintenance cost — not house preference.

Scope

What we build

Cross-platform applications

Flutter and React Native builds that share one codebase across iOS and Android without feeling like a wrapped website.

Native modules where they matter

Swift and Kotlin work where the platform genuinely demands it — background location, hardware access, performance-critical paths.

Companion apps

Mobile front ends for platforms you already run, sharing the same API and authentication.

Offline-capable field apps

Local storage and conflict-aware sync for teams working where connectivity is not guaranteed.

Store submission and release setup

App Store and Play Console configuration, signing, staged rollout and crash reporting.

Method

How we approach it

The same three commitments apply to every engagement, whatever the technology involved.

  • Design for the smallest screen first

Layouts, touch targets and navigation are decided on a small device, then expanded. The reverse never works.

  • Instrumented from day one

Crash reporting and basic analytics are part of the first build, so the first week of real usage tells you something.

  • Release process handed over

Signing keys, build scripts and store metadata documented and transferred, so you are never blocked waiting for us.

FAQ

Questions

Straight answers, including the ones that occasionally lose us work.

If the app is UI-heavy with custom animation and you want identical rendering on both platforms, Flutter. If your team already writes React and you want to share logic with a web app, React Native. We recommend one after discovery and explain the trade-off in writing.

Yes, under your developer accounts so the apps remain your property. We configure the accounts with you if you do not have them yet.

Most clients move onto a maintenance agreement covering OS updates, store policy changes, bug fixes and small feature work. It is optional and month-to-month.

Send the problem, the constraint or the half-formed idea. You will get a straight answer on whether we are the right team for it, and what it would take.
