Who we are
The Vector Byte (Private) Limited is a software engineering company registered in Pakistan, with its office at FF-410, Deans Trade Center, Peshawar, Pakistan. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at thevectorrr@gmail.com.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information.
- Information you send us. When you submit the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and whatever else you choose to include — phone number, company name, service required, budget range, timeline and your project description.
- Basic technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs including IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is normal web server operation and is used for security and troubleshooting.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to prepare a proposal if you ask for one, to keep the site secure, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you contacted us.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation you may return to. Records relating to engagements we actually carry out are kept for as long as required by contract and Pakistani tax and accounting law. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider according to their standard retention period.
Who else can see it
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf: our web hosting provider, and our email provider, which delivers and stores enquiry messages. They process the data to provide their service to us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts. The only third-party content on the site is an embedded map on the contact page, which is loaded from Google and may set cookies under Google's own policy when it renders. If we introduce analytics in future, this policy will be updated and a consent mechanism added before any tracking begins.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email thevectorrr@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you asked us to delete data we are legally required to retain, we will tell you which records those are and why.
Security
Enquiry data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in access-controlled email accounts. We apply the same standards to our own systems that we apply to client work: least-privilege access, no credentials in source control, and prompt patching. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects data we already hold, contact affected people directly.
